Corrections Policy

Last updated 15 July 2026

Globaris Immigration News reports on work-visa and immigration policy changes that affect real decisions people make about their careers and their families. Getting the facts right matters more to us than getting them out fast. This page explains what we do when we get something wrong.

How to report an error

If you believe an article contains a factual error — a wrong date, an incorrect figure, a misstated eligibility rule, a broken or outdated source link — email us at info@globarisconsulting.com with the article URL and a description of the issue. Please include a link to an official source where possible, so we can verify quickly.

What we do when an error is confirmed

  • We correct the article text as soon as the error is verified against a primary source.
  • We add a visible correction note at the end of the article stating the date and nature of the correction — we do not silently edit factual claims.
  • The article's "Updated" date is refreshed to reflect the correction, so readers can see when the change was made.
  • For significant errors that could have led a reader to act on incorrect information, we also note this clearly at the top of the article, not just in a footnote.

What we don't do

We do not quietly delete or unpublish articles to make mistakes disappear. If a story turns out to be based on a source that was wrong, withdrawn, or superseded, we say so in the article itself rather than removing it, unless we are legally required to take it down.

Response time

We aim to review correction reports within 2 business days. Because immigration rules change quickly and can vary by case, if you are relying on an article for a specific personal decision, we recommend confirming current requirements directly with the relevant government authority linked in the article's source, or speaking with a licensed adviser.
