UK Lets Skilled Worker Visa Holders Recognised as Trafficking Victims Leave Abusive Sponsors

A Statement of Changes to the Immigration Rules laid before the UK Parliament on September 3 inserts a new rule letting Skilled Worker visa holders who are formally recognised as modern slavery or trafficking victims work for any employer — or go self-employed — for the rest of their visa, instead of having to find a new sponsor within days or lose their status.
